|A member of our 2017 study tour, Carol Picciotto, put together a video montage of our trip! Thanks Carol!
Tour dates are two weeks in September, 2020. In Dr. Gerlind’s capacity as the lead German facilitator and JB’s as co-facilitator, we are offering our experienced travel guidance as well as meetings with local expert speakers, with consideration of your own wish list for sights to see. There’s free time built in, and all group activities are optional, except for the booked travel and speakers’ arrangements in each city. You can expect to join a small group of fellow travelers (8-10 participants) with compatible interests.
We are planning to spend the first week in Berlin, and the second week in the lesser-known gem Hamburg (Dr. Gerlind’s home town) which will also include a day trip to Hansestadt Lübeck, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, close to the Baltic Sea.
This is going to be our fourth Germany Study Tour! Previous trips were educational, personal, fun and unforgettable, as participants can attest.
Marion, JB, Just want to say thanks so much to you both for putting together such an excellent trip to Berlin and Hamburg. We had a incredible time —we’ll remember this trip for years to come. It was a perfect way to celebrate our 25th year anniversary! Thanks to your diligence and excellent management of all the details, the trip went so smoothly for us all and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time. I enjoyed the individual group members and the group dynamic that ended up working so well.
The speeches and guided tours/exhibits were all enlightening and thought-provoking. And especially, it was great to have so much time with you both. …At any rate, once again, thanks for all of your tireless work on this trip. I hope you both were able to enjoy it as much as we all did.
Take care, - Peter
